Q&A: inspiration, makeup and more!

Hello guys!

So today I'm going to be doing a Q&A and I'm super excited! I've had many questions and I'm going to answer them all!

1. Mac or benefit?
I would say that I prefer Mac to benefit because I love all Mac products so much!

2. If you could only wear one piece of makeup everyday what would it be? I would probably wear concealer because you can conceale all the spots you have so your skin looks ok and not like a zit farm.

3. Who do you fancy? I fancy Joey Essex.

4. What made you want to start a beauty blog? Well originally I wanted to start youtube but I didn't have all the right  equipment so therefore I had no choice but to create a blog and I'm really enjoying it. I wanted it to be a beauty blog because I love beauty and I love to express my thoughts and feeling about beauty. It's so fun and relaxing! It's like it's a escape from the world to write about what you love and it's just so creative because it's your own website and there's no right and wrong.

5. Who is you inspiration and who do you look up to? Zoella because she likes beauty as much as I do and she is a successful blogger and youtuber and hopefully in the future I will be to.

6. How old were you when you first started wearing makeup?- I was 11. I first started wearing mascara and then concealer. I wore them two makeup items when I was 11. When I was 13 was when I first started wearing foundation.

12. What makeup do you wear on a day to day basis? Well to school I wear concealer, mascara and powder and on the weekends or whenever I'm not going into to school I will wear foundation, primer, mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipstick, lip liner and concealer.

13. Would you rather be the person with the smelliest feet in the world so no one will go near you or the person with the smallest hands so you can't hold anything? I would rather be the person with the smelliest feet in the world because I can't go without food ( I'm greek!)

14. If you could have any makeup product what would it be? This is such a hard question but I would have to say the Mac blush in harmony. It's such a natural pretty blush shade.

15. What's your favourite waterproofs mascara and what do you use to remove it with? My favourite waterproof mascara is 100% the Maybelline the falsies volume express one! It's amazing, lasts all day and is just perfection in a tube. It's also only £9 I think. I use the l'oreal micellar water to remove it, it's such a good makeup remover and it leaves your skin feeling so fresh and clean.

16. Mascara or eyeliner? This is such a tricky question and I love both products but I would have to go for... OMG. Urgh. it'll probably be mascara because I love buying mascara and trying new ones out and in general I wear mascara more than eyeliner.

17. Are you ever going to start a youtube channel? Defiantly! I really want to start a youtube channel but at the moment I haven't got all the right equipment. I would probably start it when I'm 16-18ish. If I made YouTube videos I would want to make them up to a good standard, and I would want the editing, lighting and quality to be on point, do you know what I mean?.

18. What's your favourite bar of chocolate? It would be the Hershey's cream and cookies chocolate. That is so nice, I would die for it. If your ever in my naughty books then I suggest you buy me a few bars of Hershey's and I'll love you forever.

19. What's your favourite lipstick colour you own? This is the easiest question ever and it's the Mac honeylove one. It's a gourgeous nude with a hint of pink in.

That's all the question done! I hope you enjoyed this fun little blog post for you. Don't forget to follow me, love you all!

Collective haul; Primark, Topshop etc.

Hey guys!

Today I'm going to be showing you what I have bought over the past weeks, I have got beauty and fashion items so this will be a mixed haul and I hope you enjoy!

First im going to be starting off with Primark.

So I got this jumper dress and I thought this would be so comfy to lounge about in rather than old creased pyjamas. This is so soft and on the sleeves I don't know if you can see from the picture but there's a slight quilted material effect which I think makes it look really nice. It is in the smallest size which is a 6-8 but it does come up rather big so I would size down for this, unless you love really oversized jumpers, it comes down to just past the knee on me and I'm 5'3. This is only £8.00 which is super cheap! I thought this would have at least been £12.00.

Then I picked up a snood! I have been looking for a plain snood for a while now and I saw this one in Primark and fell in love! It's just plain black, but it matches everything and it's not too oversized when it's around your neck, it's the perfect size and is so warm, you defiantly need something  warm since it has been so cold recently (in London anyway). This was only £2.00, they also had this in a cream colour.

The next two items are a pyjama set. I needed some new pyjams and these were the ones I fell in love with! They are so basic but I think they are really pretty at the same time. The top is navy blue and through the straps there is lace detailing (you probably won't be able to see in the picture) and the top is nice and loose, I got this in size 6-8 if your wondering and the top was around £2.00.The bottoms are also navy blue with pockets at either side with striped detailing and also lace around the edge of the pockets, they have got a drawstring aswell and they look so cute. They also have got cuffed ends (I don't know how to explain it) I got them in size 6-8 also and they were £5.00.

I then picked up these slippers, these were around £3.00 and they are so cosy but they are a bit big for me sadly but as they are so cheap I don't really mind.

I then picked up some eyebrow pencils, I got one in a light shade and one in a darker shade, I haven't tried these out yet but they look good so I hope they are. These were £1-£1.50.

I then got this nail polish, it's a pretty gold colour and I've already worn it and it actually lasts really well, like it dosent cheap easily or anything so I think this is a good buy and it was £1.00 reduced to 80p.

Lastly from Primark I got this lipstick, it is in the shade 10 nude and its a glossy, opaque formula, I think this will be perfect on top of a Mac matte lipstick. It's actually got a brush applicator so it's very precise which I prefer. I think this is a bargain as its only £2.00 and I've worn it a few times and it's lasting power is actually okay, I might buy a few more for the summer time because I think I'm getting a bit obsessed with them! (Oops).

Next im moving into New look. I actually only have 1 item from there and it's this skinny ribbed crop top which I am in love with! It's just plain black and I think it would look really nice paired with high waisted jeans. I got this in a size 8 and it was £8.00

Next is an item from topshop and it's the joni high waisted jeans. I love these jeans , they are probably the best jeans I've ever had, and ever will have, they are so soft and comfy and they are stretchy quite spacious so you are able to do squats in them (not that I ever do, I mean me doing squats, forget it). The quality of them is really good and I actually want to purchase a white pair of them in summer and a black pair with rips in the knees as soon as I can, I'm obsessed with these jeans, I wear them almost everyday and yeah! I love these. They were £36.00, so not the cheapest jeans but defiantly worth it.

From H&M I picked up this plain black mini bodycon skirt, it was only £3.99 and I think it's a staple to have in your wardrobe because you can dress it up or dress it down so it's perfect for all types of occasions and I can see myself wearing this a lot (especially in summer).

Now moving on to superdrug...

So I've been wanting a eyebrow powder for ages and I was looking at getting and anastasia Beverly Hills one or an Mac one but they are quite pricey so whilst I was in superdrug I saw this one and thought I might aswell give this one a go. It's was only £4.99 and so far I have actually been likeing it.

I picked up the Neautrogena exfoliating face wash, I think this is quite gentle on the face which I was looking for, and it really does cleanse your face makin it feel baby soft.

I also got the real techniques blush brush and it's such a good brush. It's so soft and I think it looks quite pretty compared to some brushes which are plain black. it's well worth the money, I believe it's around £8.00 and I would really reccomend this brush.

Last of all I purchased the makeup revolution lipstick in 'The one' this is a shimmery pink nude colour, it's similar to Mac honeylove lipstick. Unfortunately  it dosent last a long time but it is nice on top of matte lipsticks.

That's everything I've purchased over the past weeks, I hope you have enjoyed this and please don't forget to follow me and comment below any blog posts you'll like me to do!

Mac lipstick review: Honeylove

Hello guys!

I'm  going to be doing a review for you on a Mac lipstick.

To start, I have it in the shade honeylove and its a gougeous pink nude kind of  colour. This lipstick is also matte which I love because matte lipstick tend to last the longest. I pair this with my Mua lipliner in the shade 'caramel nougat' which I featured in my january favourites. The lipliner and lipstick are a perfect match.

Anyway back to the lipstick, it's very wearable and goes with literally every makeup look! The lipstick has got a really nice scent to it but I can't describe it, it's like a muted sweet coffee kind of smell which sounds really weird but if you smell it you'll probably know what I mean (or I might just be really weird?!)

I actually really want to purchase some more of the Mac lipsticks because they are so nice, Theres actually 10 colours I want but I'll just have to wait until I get some money and then I can splurge out!

The lipsticks are £15.50 online, but I was lucky and someone actually gave it to me which I really appreciate so if your reading this thank you so much!.

... And that's my review for you guys, it was just a short little review but I hope you enjoyed it! Don't forget to follow me & thank you for reading!

January favourites 2015

Hey guys!!!

As we are approaching the end of January I thought I'll post a January favourites because there's some new discoveries that I've been loving this month.

First off all I've been loving the maybelline superstay better skin foundation. it last all day and evens out your skin tone. I would say it's a medium coverage but is build able. I have it in the shade '030 sand'. It does not make you look cakey at all and really does illuminate your skin. It's really cheap aswell, it's a perfect all rounder!

Secondly this month I have been loving the Mac prep and prime skin base visage. This is amazing. It's the best primer I've tried and I will defiantly be repurchising. This primer really does make your foundation stay put all day and it also gives a nice matte finish which I love. This is quite pricey, but if your looking for a AMAZING matte primer this will definatly satisfy you.

I have also been loving the collection lasting perfection concealer. I have it in the shade 'cool medium 2'. I think this is a really good concealer for blemishes as it has a thick consistency and is long lasting. It's only £4.19 at boots.

The elf studio blush palette in 'light' is another think I've been loving. There are 3 matte colours and 1 shimmery one. This palette has got the perfect colours. I have been loving the bottom left colour, I think it goes nicely with any type of look. All the colours in the palette are so pigmented and very wearable. This palette was around £7.00.

This is the best drugstore powder I have and it's the rimmel stay matte powder, I've been wearing it every single day. It's a really good matte powder for the money. I wish they done some darker shades though because this was the darkest shade I could find, I have the shade '004 sandstorm'. I kind of wanted a dupe for the Mac pressed powder which I love and sadly ran out of, and I thought this powder would compare and it doesn't because it's not as long lasting and the consistency isn't as thick. I do really like this powder for the time being but I still want to repurchase the Mac powder 100%!

OMG I have been loving this lipliner! It is so amazing! The colour is a pink nude and goes nicely with any nude colour. It is long lasting and it is £1.00! Yes, only £1.00! It is the MUA lipliner in the colour 'caramel nougat' I really treasure this lip liner as it is SOOO good.

That's everything I've been loving this month. Let me know what  you have been loving this month down below in the comments! Thank you for reading and don't forget to follow me!

Girl online

Hello guys!

So I'm going to be doing something a bit different and that is a short book review, but it's not any old book, its Zoe Suggs (aka zoella) book! (If u don't know who she is then where have you been?!)She is a famous youtuber. She's a very inspiring person (to me anyway). She has written a novel am I going to share with you guys my thoughts on it. So let's begin.

The book is around £5 from Amazon which is a good price for a hardback book. The book is absoloutly phenomenally  incredibly amazing!!! It has got a great story line and it's mainly a romance genre. The book covers lots of different areas of help, like I can't really explain it but if you were having a hard time with friends or boys this book will have the answer to them problems, it dosent make it obvious but the storyline goes down a root where there are problems with friends and boys and the girl (penny) sorts the situation out which can influence others to do the same if their in the same situation (it sounds really confusing but if you have read it you will know what I mean) I don't really know what else to say about this book apart from  that it's really amazing and I highly recommend it.

I do know that people have been saying that zoella didn't write this and got a ghost writer to write it but the truth is that zoella wrote the book with some help. (So People get your facts right!)

I am also not just saying all this because I am a fan of zoella im saying this out of honesty (it truly is a amazing book)

This post was a request so if anyone else has anything they will like me to review then please let me know in the comments below!

Thank you for reading, make sure you follow me and also check out my Twitter and Instagram!

Best beauty products of 2014

Hey guys!

This post is going to be what the best products of 2014 were for me, so sit back, relax, get yourself a cup of tea and enjoy.

The expert face brush is one of my all time favourite brushes! It's so soft and blends out foundation flawlessly! I have been using this non-stop, It's a real bargain for only £9.99!

The carmex lip balm is a real healer for chapped lips. I got this for £2.00 in Primark and it works really well. I use this once everyday and it really moistrisies my horrible chapped lips. It's a fresh mint scent but it's not very strong and when you put it on your lips it feels really weird, I can't explain the feeling but it's a bit of a tingly stinging Sensation, that sounds so weird but if you try it you will know what I mean. But anyway, if your looking for a cheap lip saviour then this is the best product to get!

The boots essential eye make-up remover pads are also really good. They clear all eye make-up off within 1 wipe and are once again cheap, I can't remember there exact price but they are no more than £3.00. They do leave a really oily residue but if you wash your face after with water then it will just wash it away.

Next I have been loving the MUA eyeshadow palettes! These are great palettes. They are so pigmented and last absoloutly all day. I have got a few of the MUA palettes but this is the one that I have most used. This palette is called 'undressed'. They are £4.00 in superdrug, so again, a bargain!

My favourite bronzer has to be the collection bronze glow. This gives you the perfect shimmering bronzed glow and it lasts all day. I have been using this every day, it's better for a spring/summer look but I've been loving it so much that I've even been using it in the winter. It's also £2.00-£3.00 so very cheap!!

The best concealer of 2014 is the Mac Pro long wear! No doubt about it. I have done a review on this so I'm not going to go into detail but all you need to know is that it has good coverage and lasts all day! It is around £17 but it is well worth the money! I have sadly run out so I will have to repurchase it but if your willing to splurge out to buy an amazing concealer then get this one 100%!

The best foundation of 2014 is the maybelline superstay better skin. It lasts all day, it's not matte or dewy like the armani Giorgio foundation it's inbetween but if you use a matte powder it will control the oil. It's around £8.00 and it's well worth the money. It's a nice consistency and is medium coverage but you can build it up to make it full coverage. I just love this foundation! If you would like me to post a review on this product let me know in the comments!

The Barry m lipstick is my favourite lipstick of 2014! I haven't tried a range of lipsticks but from the ones I have tried it is Definatly my favourite one! This one is a beautiful pink rose nude kind of colour. It dosen last all day but if you use a lip pencil or primer it certainly does stay in place all day. These are around £4.00, so again, very cheap and for the money I think they are well worth it, especially for beginners because they are so easy to use and so pigmented, it's unreal!

I have recently been loving to put eyeliner in the waterline, it's around £4.00 and I have been loving to use the maybelline master drama kohl pencil for that. Its so easy to use, it simply just glides onto the waterline. It's very black (by that I mean it dosent look like a charcoal black). It lasts around 4-5 hours which isn't a huge amount of time but I haven't found one that lasts longer. I have heard the Mac eyeliner is really good so I might purchase that.

Lastly the maybelline the falsies volume express mascara is by favourite! It lengthens, volumises and curls the lashes making them look surreal. I'm not sure on the price of this but I know it's no less than £8.00 and no more than £12.00. If you need a new mascara then I'm commanding you to get this! You will love it, I promise and if you don't I will give you a free shoutout on Instagram! Haha.

I hope you enjoyed this and haven't had a chance to finish your cup of tea because you were so intrigued in this, weren't you? Now go and read my Mac Pro long wear concealer review if you havent already and finish your tea before it gets cold! Also don't forget to follow me and comment any questions below! Thank you for reading.

Drugstore haul

Hello guys!

I have been to superdrug and boots to get some lovely makeup and I thought it would be nice to share what I got with you.

So firstly I got the seventeen define and conquer contour kit. You get a highlighter and bronzer and I'm so excited to try them out! It was £5.99

Secondly I got the NYC bronzing facial powder. I know everyone has been raving about this product and since I have now finally  got my hands on it, I'm  going to be doing a tutorial featuring this product as soon as possible. It was £1.99.

Thirdly I got the collection no clump mascara. I have never tried any collection mascaras because I thought they would be rubbish but I can't judge them without trying them so I bought one and I'm quite excited to see how it works. It was £2.50.

Then I got the rimmel stay matte powder because I really needed a new powder because my Mac one sadly ran out. I have heard that this powder is the best drugstore matte powder so I went ahead and bought it. I had already got one of these powders that I got ages ago but the colour is way too light so I got myself this one in the colour 004 sandstorm. This was only £2.99.

Last of all I got myself the collection lasting perfection concealer. Once again I have heard this is a really good drugstore concealer. It is £4.99 and I got it in the colour cool medium 2. I got it quite light because I'm going to use it for -brightening up my under eye area. I will probably be Doing a review on this so keep a look out for that.

That's everything I got, I hope you enjoyed this haul. Please don't forget to follow me!

What's your favourite drugstore matte lipstick? (Comment below, I need some matte lippys!)
