HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hello guys!

I hope you all had a great christmas.

As it's the start of the new year I thought it'll be fun to do a post about New Years resolutions.

So I'm going to tell you what my New Years resolutions are. I'm not going to have too many because then I don't achieve them.

This year I only have 4 (it might sound a lot but honestly compared to last year and the year before, and the year before that, it's nothing). I think it will be really nice to hear what your resolutions are so please comment below and I will read every single one of them.

So here it goes...

1. Stop biting my nails

2. Eat NO sweets (this shouldn't be too hard as I'm not overly keen on them anyway, but the only problem avoiding them is if I'm totally starving and there's sweets right in front of my face staring at me saying "eat me, eat me!")

3. Get a C grade in maths

4. Meet joey Essex!

I hope you enjoyed reading this! I look forward to reading your comments and don't forget to follow me.

HAPPY NEW YEAR hope you have a good one!

Almond oil review

Hello guys!

Today I'm going to be reviewing the almond oil. Now if you don't know what it is or what it's used for then I'll tell you that now. It's used to condition your skin and prevent moisture loss from the skin. You can use it on children or adults.

I buy mine from Neals yard remedies. Neals yard remedies is a shop that sells all organic products. I know they have a shop in Westfields (Stratford) and I think somewhere in Covent Garden but I could be wrong.

Now to let  you know I have eczema and that means you itch a lot and you have dry skin. Since I have used the almond oil I have had miraculously soft skin! This almond oil has worked wonders! I LOVE this stuff! It smells like a sweet almond scent, it's not strong at all it's very subtle. It has worked wonders for me so I'm sure it'll do the same for you!

I use it when I'm in the bath or shower and I rub it all over my body and leave It on for 3-5 minutes and then I wash it off. When I get out the bath/shower you can feel a slight residue of the oil where it has sunk into the skin, so you don't want to rub yourself with a towel you just want to gently pat yourself with your towel. When I wash it off it makes my skin completely soft and when I have red scratch marks from scratching myself it has completely healed, and that's within minutes, it doesn't even take 1 day which is so amazing!

The almond oil is £9.50 and is a 100ml blue glass bottle. It doesn't come with a pump but you can buy one from neals yard remedies for around £2.00-£4.00 so it's not really expensive. There's also a almond moisturiser that I really want to try but it's £18 which is quite pricey so I'm not sure if I will purchase it but I'm sure it's a great product so I'm really fasinated to see how that works.

If you have dry, sensitive skin or eczema I highly reccomend this product, it's so good, I have repurchased it 4 times now. This is by far better than any of the  creams the Docters have recommended me and I'm so glad I've found it. (The picture down below is what the almond oil looks like)

I hope this was helpful to some of you and please Follow & share!

Have any of you suffered from dry skin or eczema?

Elf studio blush palette review

Hello guys,

Like you can see in the title im going to be reviewing the elf blush palette. To start I have the light blush palette, there is also a dark blush palette but I thought the light one will suit me better. It is a palette with 4 blush shades and they are all really pigmented and they are matte colours with a hint of shimmer which is very subtle like you can hopefully see in the pictures down below. You can build the blush up so its intense or just put a little bit on for a pop of colour. You can purchase it from http://eyeslipsface.co.uk . The palette is £7.95 which is a really cheap considering the blush palette is so good. I've been wearing these blushes ever since I got it and I highly reccomend them. The packaging of the product is  quite sleek and slim which I like because it's easy to carry around and it's got dark and light shades of blush so if your going on holiday you can just take this palette with you and have all the blush colours you will need.

I have no negative opinions about this, they are all positive and on that note I might even purchase the dark blush palette aswell!

What are your favourite elf products?

Chirstmas cheer

Hey Guys!

So I know I haven't posted in a long, long time. But, It has been so busy and close to Christmas. My fav shop I have been loving to shop in for pressies for my besties is lush! And I know everybody is raving about this shop, but If you don't know what lush is you are definitely missing out! It is a bath and beauty shop, which is against animal testing. Which I think is amazing. I have recently purchased a  bubblegum lip scrub from lush which works wonders and makes my lips feel super soft! & the best part is that you can lick the lip scrub off after you've rubbed it on your lips! It's just oil and sugar with a bubblegum flavouring. They also sell a special christmas edition Santa lip scrub which is cola scent/taste and a popcorn one. Although, it did cost quite a bit of money for a 25g pot (£5.60). It's all natural though and good quality so I suppose it's reasonable in some ways.

Another shop I've been loving for getting pressies for my besties is claires. It is a jewellery and accessories shop. I have purchased a eye shadow palette and some jewellery, which I find really cute and very affordable. If you have never been there or heard of it you should definitely check it out because it's a great shop!

What shops have you been loving recently???

To start I must say I  really love this product, it's basically a soap for your face and it cleans really well and smells AMAZINGGGGG!!! (It smells of the tressame shampoo!) it was around £3 which is so cheap! I use every night and I have combo skin (more on the oily side)
I really recommend this if you want a good face wash!

November favourites!!!

November is coming to the end and December is Coming closer! (CHRISTMAS!!!)
Down below I'm going to list my favourite items of this month.

Vaseline spray and go bodymoistriser- I love this because it's so easy to use. You just spray and go! Like it says. After the shower I quickly spray it and I don't even have to rub it in. It's so nice and moisturising and really smooths the skin making it look and feel amazing. I really highly reccomend this product as it's only around £5 and you get a lot of product for the price. The 1 bottle has lasted me 4 months using it 3 times a week all over my body apart from my arms. (because they are super sensitive) I also have eczema all over my body but it doesn't effect me. (apart from my arms where it makes them really itchy)

Topshop Magic liner 'engraved'-I absoloutly freakin' love this!! It lasts all day, quick dry, cheap (around £7.00) can be made to look thickish or thin. MUST GET!!!

Mac prolongwear concealer- i must have mentioned this quite abit but I can't get over how good this stuff is! It's like a magic eraser! It erases all redness and dark circles. Matte finish and is so amazing! It's has so many different colours too. It's on the pricey side and it's £17.00, but to be honest I don't think it's bad at all for a AMAZING conclear. I have done an review on this previously so go and check that out!

Hollister hoody- I know it's got nothing to do with beauty but I love a good hoody during the winter time, I've been wearing this non-stop in and out of the house and it's so cosy and snuggly! It's £80 which is quite pricey and it's  navy blue with fur inside, I have had it for 2 years now and it's in a good condition!!! (CRAZY I KNOW) The same ones not in stock anymore but they do it in different colours.

Barry M gelly nail varnish- this nail varnish is beautiful it makes it look like you have gel nails! There's a variety of colours and it's cheap aswell which is always a good thing. It lasted me 9 days without chipping which is insane!

That's all my favourites, if you have tried any please let me know! Share this with everyone please and don't forget to follow me on Instagram @miss_sophxo

What I got for my birthday 2014

On Sunday 16th November it was my birthday! I had a lovely day with family and got lots of nice things!
Firstly I got Turkish delights from my nan' yes TURKISH DELIGHTS. I love them so much and there hard to find in most shops so I was soo happy to see them! If you've never tried them I suggest you do because there absoloutly tasty in so many different ways! They are chewy sweets (kind of like haribos) with icing sugar on top. You get lots of different flavours but my favourites rose.

Secondly I got a top that say NOTHING TO WEAR. It's black with white writing and a V neck. I LOVE it! It's soooo nice and it looks really nice with jeans. It was from new look if your wondering and I have it in size 8. It was also from my nan.

Thirdly ( is that even a word?) I got a box of maltesers!! Mmmm...

Then I got a tressame hair set which came with a shampoo, conditioner, hairspray and brush and its really nice. It was from my mum.

I also got a Mckenzie tracksuit and it comes with a hoody And bottoms, it's pink and really nice (especially in the winter time!)

Then I got a cute pack of 3 socks! They are polka dotted trainer socks with little bows on the back and they are really pretty.

I got £250 from a range of people and I'm going to go on a shopping spree and buy lots of clothes and makeup!

I also got a lipbalm which is in a key ring form but in disguise it's a pretty long lasting lipstick that I actually really love! It was also from my nan.

I got 5 nail varnishes they are really pretty. 4 are glittery shades and 1 is a lovely dark mint green kind of colour.

Then I got 4 juicy lip glosses which are all pink shades and I think they look really nice and subtle when they are on your lips.

Finally I got a little manicure set which is really nice and perfect to carry around with you if your on the go like me!

I've attached my cake pics below and also SOME of the brithday wishes, I had so many and thanks to every one who wished me happy bday I really appreciate it!

Thank you for reading! Xxx

Mac Pro long wear concealer review

The Mac Pro long wear concealer... Where to start!?

Firstly its a really long lasting concealer (that's probably why it's called pro long wear) and it's quite matte. It sets really nice and dosent need  topping up throughout the day. It is quite runny, it's not thick at all but with 1 pump you get a lot of product out. It's very easy to blend and it's also build able so if you want to have lots of coverage then you can build more layers on a spot but with 1 layer I think it covers up spots perfectly without it looking heavy. It never looks cakey to be honest, no matter how much you put on because you can blend it in really nice and it will look really natural. If you put a lot of this concealer on and don't blend the concealer in then you will have problems because it will be quite visable and look cakey.
Secondly I think that it covers up really well. I was truly amazed by the coverage! It covers all red spots and dark under eyes.
Then the packaging is quite nice because it's in a glass bottle with a PUMP! Because without a pump it's always a nightmare to get things out.
There's a range of colours I have nc30 and it's perfect for me!
It lasted me 5 months which is a long time considering I used it everyday! I'm really impressed by it. I got it for £17.00 which I don't think is a bad price at all!
Overall I love this concealer and will Definatly be repurching it any time soon!

I've just screen shotted a picture below if you want to see what it looks like, I couldn't take it myself as I have no storage left sorry!

France trip!

Good morning guys! So basically I went to France with my school and it was a really fun and exciting time! I miss it so much! & Disney was the best part,we got a day ticket which was £36 and spent all the day there, it's really expensive though I spent €50 including food,  I loved it so much! If you have never been before I really advise that you go no matter how old or young you are, it's an amazing experience.

We also went to a chocolate factory which was interesting &  to the Eiffel Tower. I was a bit terrified at first as  scared of heights but honestly the views were breathtaking.

We done a few more bits aswell such as a river cruise, shopping malls and it was really exciting, if you get a chance to go I really advise you to because you will not regret it!

Thank you for reading xx
